About our process and location
Do I need a GP referral?
For your first bariatric consultation, you can book in with our nurse practitioner without needing a GP referral and this appointment is fully bulk billed.
If you’d prefer to see Dr Bill Gong for your initial consultation, you’ll need a GP referral to do so.
How do I get started?
At Complete Surgical, we’re committed to providing personalised care for every patient.
You can book your bulk-billed bariatric assessment with our nurse practitioner.
If you’re exploring weight loss surgery, your journey begins with an initial consultation with our experienced nurse practitioner, Kendall. During this session, Kendall will review your medical history, discuss your eligibility, and guide you through essential pre-surgical requirements, including blood tests and any investigations that may be required. This is a cost and time effective way to get started, making sure you’re well-prepared before you follow up with Dr Bill Gong. Appointments with Kendall are fully bulk billed, and we’ll also keep your GP in the loop with every step of your journey with us.
If you feel it’s important to see Dr Bill Gong at your first consultation, we can accommodate that. Simply email our practice with your GP referral attached, and we’ll arrange an appointment for you.
For all other surgical procedures, your initial consultation will be with Dr Bill Gong, who will work with you to create a tailored treatment plan.
Whether with Kendall or Dr Gong, you’ll receive expert care and support every step of the way.
What is the easiest way to access the clinic?
Murdoch Square spans 5 buildings with a joint 3-level basement car park. The medical suites are situated within building C that fronts both Bedbrook Row and Barry Marshall Parade, each of which provides an entrance. Complete Surgical can be found on Level 1, suite 101.
There is underground basement parking available in Murdoch Square accessible via Yubarl Lane (off Fiona Wood Road) Please use C2 parking and utilise the C2 light blue lifts to access tower C. Alternatively, Murdoch Station is also within a close walking proximity should you wish to use public transport.
